Ron Laytner has long been known as the most widely syndicated photo journalist of modern times. He has covered most of the world’s major stories and fed magazines and newspapers with stories that fascinate readers and editors alike.
He started at the Toronto Star newspaper in Canada and soon was doing stories for Life Magazine, Paris Match, The London Sunday Times and hundreds of other publications around the world. Recently the London Sunday Times Magazine did a three part series on the ‘Greatest Photographs Ever Taken’. The section on ‘Conflict’ began with a photograph Laytner took at the beginning of his career and which was featured in 'The Best of Life’.
